Delicious & low carbs, this walnuts, Pecorino and cauliflower mash is a perfect alternative for this Christmas to counteract all those heavy carbs and sugary foods. It is quick to make, budget friendly and tasty, a perfect accompaniment for all those Sunday and mid-week roasts.
Walnuts, Pecorino cheese & cauliflower mash
A tasty alternative to potatoes mash, ideal for those that need to follow low cards diets.
- 1 cauliflower
- a dash of unsweetened almond milk
- 50 gr of grated Pecorino cheese
- 6-8 crushed walnuts
- a dash of nutmeg
- a dash of black pepper
- Step 1 Simply clean, the cauliflower, cut it in big chunks and steamed it.
- Step 2 When steamed, place it in a blender with a bit of almond milk and blend it.
- Step 3 Add the grated Pecorino cheese, the nutmeg & balck pepper and stir well.
- Step 4 Add the crushed walnuts and serve!
