A tasty variation to the classic Greek salad, that is great as side dish or even on its own for a light lunch. Sumac is a Middle eastern spice, which is fresh, zesty and mildly spicy. It can liven up many simple dishes like couscous, stews, soups and in this case salads.

This salad bring a great amounts of vitamins, minerals and phyto-nutrients, which are nature’s own medicine. Rich in potassium, is perfect to re-hydrate for those summer days after the beach.

A tasty variation on the classic Greek salad, perfect for a Summer meal after the beach.

Ingredients
  • 2-3 medium tomatoes
  • 2/3 cucumber
  • 6 black olives (pitted)
  • 1 shallot
  • a generous pinch of sumac
  • a sprinkle of extra-virgin olive oil
  • a dash of sea salt
  • few drops of fresh lemon juice
Directions
  • Step 1 Place all the washed and cut vegetables in salad bowl, finely sliced the shallots, add the seasoning, olive oil, salt to taste, stir and serve!
